A Night at The Driskill!

Creative Consultants had the joy of planning a huge corporate event last Friday night at the Driskill Hotel! The room was bright and beautiful, from the flowers and table settings to the smiles on all the guests faces. It truly was wonderful and we want to say thank you to everyone who participated and helped making sure it was a success!
As the temperatures are rising and as the flowers are blooming, nothing screams summer quite like a yellow and orange color palette! The centerpieces of the tables featured gorgeous yellow roses, orange tulips, and orange and pink orchids. Candles were placed on each table to accent the flowers and to bring a special glow to the ballroom. We loved this fresh and bright color palette and it went perfectly with the decor of the Driskill’s ballroom!
Red, Hot & Soul

Happy Tuesday to everyone!
This weekend we had the wonderful privilege of planning Zach Theatre’s Red, Hot & Soul gala to help celebrate ZACH’s 80th season! This fundraiser highlighted the beautiful new Topfer Theatre and Bobbi Pavillion, and all proceeds from the gala will benefit the theatre’s artistic and education programs.
The weather was perfect and we had an absolute blast participating in this glamorous event. Thank you to everyone who contributed and made Red, Hot & Soul possible!
Red, Hot & Soul featured an exquisite, custom made Sperry Tent on the new Bobbi Pavillion.
We transformed the tent into a beautiful after party for the guests to enjoy after the live auction.
Roses

Flowers are truly special. They not only bring beauty and color into one’s life, but they can create and bring joy in their purest form. I grew up in a home where flowers were placed in beautiful vases each week, highlighting each room. My mother also taught me that even with the most simple bouquet, flowers are the perfect way to say “Thank you” and “I love you”. I have embraced this concept as I have gotten older and now always get bouquet of flowers for people I love or as a thank you gesture. It’s amazing how just a few stems of flowers bring such smiles to people’s faces. It always brightens up their day and especially mine.
As spring is approaching, colors are in full bloom. When planning your wedding or event, it is easy to get caught up in trying to pick so many different types of flowers. Though a variety is beautiful, it is perfectly OK to go with what we all know: Roses. I love roses. Not only are they the flower of love, but they also are the flower of every season. With their immense amount of colors, they can be used all year round, from summer to winter.

Croquet and Sweet Little Games

As spring and summer are quickly approaching, outdoor events are in full bloom! I personally love the idea of an outdoor wedding reception or cocktail hour (if you’re not in scorching hot Texas temperatures!) and there are so many ways to create one that adds a little touch of fun and playfulness to it.
If you are wanting to create a relaxed, yet classic ambiance, why not incorporate lawn games into your special event! Not only are they cute and sweet, but they allow your guests to laugh and enjoy the day filled with fun activities. I mean, who doesn’t love a good game of croquet alongside a tiny bag of popcorn and a cocktail?
